ARC Honor Comes to Baltimore November 9, 2019
This 190x32m (623.36×104.99ft) vehicles carrier was built in 1996 by Sumito Heavy Industries in Tokyo, Japan according to BalticShipping.com. Owned by American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC) she can carry 5,783 cars.
I have seen this ship twice before here in Baltimore, departing on March 10, 2019 and arriving on April 28, 2019. I also had the opportunity to view the interior of another ARC ship during her naming ceremony, the ARC Resolve.
I found this 2016 video of her arriving in Szczecin, Poland. Towards the end her stern ramp can be seen lowering.
In the beginning of my video below the pilot boat Baltimore can be seen making her way towards the ship. Tugboat Janet is seen with a loaded coal barge. After she passes under the Key Bridge a Moran tugboat can be seen alongside ready to help her to dock. Near the end of the video the little tugboat Ms. Debbie can be seen returning home after having helped the Janet push the coal barge.
