Atlantic Sail Departs Baltimore August 15, 2020
This 296×37.6m (971.13×123.36ft) UK Flagged Container/Ro-Ro (or ConRo) ship was built in 2016 by Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group in China for Atlantic Container Line (ACL). She was the second of the G4 ships to be built, the others being the Atlantic Star (seen April 1st, 2019, Atlantic Sea, Atlantic Sky, and Atlantic Sun, the latter of which I saw come to Baltimore October 13, 2018. They can each carry 3,800 TEUs and 1,300 cars. I last saw this ship November 12, 2018.
ACL Cargo has provided a data sheet on this class of ship which can be seen here. Passenger service is available aboard this ship between the USA and Europe. Information on this can be viewed here.
This 2016 video by her owner, Atlantic Container Line, is a slide show of her construction and peeks can be seen of her siblings also under construction. This video from the same year shows her in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This video from the same person shows her departing the same place last month.
In my 4 minute video below she can be seen departing Baltimore, Maryland on the Patapsco River on a windy, overcast day. She is lightly loaded with few containers.
You can view my photography (more than just ships!) here and more videos here.
