Beira Comes to Baltimore May 17, 2020

This 180x32m (591x105ft) bulk freighter was built in 2017 but I haven’t been able to find out by who. This ship is owned by Bertling and is the sole member of their Dolphin class ships. Check out this PDF data sheet on her.

She appears to have had a very uneventful career thus far as I have found no news items nor video (besides my own below).

In my video below she can be seen approaching from the Chesapeake Bay onto the Patapsco River where she is met by the pilot boat Vedette. Tug boats April Moran and Lynne Moran come alongside to assist her to her dock. After passing under the Key bridge she can be seen making a hard turn as her destination lies near the base of the bridge.
