This video is an example of getting lucky. I went out to get photos and video of the bulker Centurius coming into Baltimore, Maryland when I noticed the tug Adam Krause heading for the general cargo ship Onego Merchant which was docked at Sparrows Point along with a pilot boat Vedette. Pilot boat Maryland went to the Centurius. I was able to get decent video of the ship pulling away from the dock as the Centurius passes. There’s been a few times I have been able to get good video of ships passing in the time I have been doing this and it is always an exciting moment for me.

In the sequence of video of the Onego Merchant just after the Centurius passes under the Key Bridge you can observe a pilot disembarking onto a pilot boat.
