Carnival Pride Comes to Baltimore, July 7, 2019
This 294x32m (963x106ft) Carnival owned cruise ship was built by Kværner Masa-Yards in Helsinki, Finland, according to this Wikipedia article, and launched in 2001. They currently have 7 and 14 day cruises for up to 2,124 guests and crew of 930 out of Baltimore, Maryland. Click here to read more about this ship’s amenities and cruises.
Between the last time I saw this ship and this time the Port of Baltimore and Carnival celebrated the “Decade of Fun” marking 10 years of cruises out of this city on June 9, 2019. Read more at CruiseMapper and Cruise Industry News.
In the video below she can be seen following the roro ship Glovis Crystal into Baltimore, Maryland. This ship will make another appearance in the last moments of the final scene of the video. A few passengers can be seen milling about the decks of the Carnival Pride and it makes me wonder if they wish the trip could have gone on another week. In the scene following the ship’s passing under the Key Bridge she can be chasing an Osprey off the screen.
