KSL Sakura Comes to Baltimore April 28, 2019

This big 292x45m (958×147.64ft) bulk freighter was built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding in Shanghai, China in 2015 according to BalticShipping.com. She is owned by Golden Ocean and is one of their Capesize ships (ship datasheet).

In the video below she can be seen coming in looking empty amidst other ship and tugboat/barge traffic. As the pilot boat Maryland approaches water can be seen gushing out of her anchor ports. In the final scene just after she passes under the Key bridge the tugboat Lynne Moran can be seen alongside. You can get a sense of the massive size of this ship by looking at the people on deck.

Ships ARC Honor and SBI Echo were also seen on this day.
