SBI Jaguar Comes to Baltimore September 16, 2020
This 200x32m (656x105ft) Marshall Islands flagged bulker was built in 2014 by Chengxi Shipyard in Jiangyin, China according to BalticShipping.com.
She had a mishap in 2018 when she ran onto a sandbank on the Western Scheldt, a river in The Netherlands according to this Insurance Marine News item (third item down).
She and 2 other ships were sold by Scorpio Bulkers to unidentified buyers earlier in 2020. Collectively they were sold for $53.5 million according to this Baird Maritime article.
I understand she arrived wearing the name SBI Jaguar but departed with her new name, Aikaterini.
I did not find any video of this ship other than my own.
In my 5 minute video below she can be seen travelling along the Patapsco River as she makes her approach to Sparrows Point. In the distance the general cargo ship BBC Topaz can be seen moving famed by the Key Bridge heading to Sparrows Point. Pilot boat Baltimore and tugs Timothy McAllister and Patrick McAllister arrive to assist her to dock. Local pleasure boat traffic is seen in good numbers as well. A Vane brothers tug can be seen moving a barge past the ship while she undergoes docking. Tug Camie can be seen on the right hand side working with a dredging operation.
