Zhoushan Island Comes to Baltimore December 23, 2019

This 189x32m (620x105ft)  bulk freighter was built in 2013 by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding in Fukuyama, Japan and is owned by Pacific Basin Shipping according to BalticShipping.com.

This ship appears to have had an uneventful career as I did not find any news items on her nor did I find any video of her. I did find a video of her namesake, Zhoushan Island, which is located near the Chinese cities of Ningbo and Shanghai.

In my 10 minute video below she can be seen arriving on a foggy morning. A pilot boat can be seen approaching and boards a pilot from the far side. After passing under the Key bridge over the Patapsco River she is intercepted by tugboats Lynne Moran and April Moran which will help her to dock.
