Aurora N Departs Baltimore October 27, 2019

This 228x32m (748x105ft) tanker was built in 2008 by STX Shipbuilding in Seoul, South Korea. She formerly wore the name Ice Beam while apparently owned by Norient Product Pool.

In 2013 she was acquired by Navios Tankers Management from Hamburg Commercial Bank along with 4 other tankers and 5 container ships according to this press release. It is unclear if she had the name at the time of acquisition or was renamed by Navios.

I found this interesting video from 2015 of her being docked in Bahia Las Minas, Panama.

In my video below she can be seen heading out of Baltimore, Maryland on the Patapsco River looking empty. As she passes under the Key bridge the tug April Moran (sporting the pink M in October for breast cancer awareness month) awaiting an incoming tanker. Towards the end of the video she can be seen passing the inbound tanker Palanca Rio.
