Located at 734 S. Broadway, Fells Point, Baltimore, Maryland Bertha’s website says they’re “A Baltimore Tradition Since 1972”.

I’ve been to Fells Point a few times and their sign is hard to miss but I’ve never been inside before.

I arrived to conduct my first interview with Kai Hansen (click here to read about that) and decided to try out their food.

I got the crab cake with fries which runs $17. It was very good. I was surprised at how good the fries are. The aioli intended for the crab cake had a strong flavor and I found it to be a much better match for the french fries. The crab cake needed no modification and was great the way it is.

Our waitress Jeniffer did a great job of making our little event run smoothly and tended to our needs very well!

I forgot to photograph their outdoor seating but it was well spaced especially given the limited space they have to work with. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
