Coast Guard Barque Eagle October 3, 2018
This beautiful ship made a grand entrance for Fleet Week in Baltimore, Maryland. The 295-foot USCGC Barque Eagle (WIX-327) is a training vessel for cadets at the Coast Guard Academy. Built in Germany in 1936 she was given to the United States at the end of WWII as war reparations.
In the video below watch as her sails are unfurled as she approaches. I hope you will agree that she is an amazing sight to behold.
