Guardian Leader Comes to Baltimore September 26, 2020

This 199x32m (653x105ft) Bahamas flagged roro ship was built in 2008 by Stocznia Gdynia S.A in Gdynia, Poland and owned by Guardian Maritime Saint Vicent & Grenadines according to BalticShipping.com.

Given the NYK Line painted on the hull that might be a subsidiary. She is managed by Stamco Ship Management who indicates this PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier) can carry up to 6,500 cars.

I did not discover any news items about this ship but some videos were found. This one from 2015 shows her passing Calshot, England. This 2017 video shows her arriving at an unnamed location but based on the tugs it might be somewhere in Japan.

In my 7 minute video below she can be seen turning onto the Patapsco River from the Chesapeake Bay as the tug Camie works barges involved in dredging. Pilot boat Baltimore intercepts the ship to deliver a pilot. Her bridge is set back a little further than similar roros. I wonder what led to this design decision.
