Maersk Sofia Departs Baltimore September 11, 2018

This 335x43m (1099×141.07ft) (according to BalticShipping.com)container ship was built in 2007 by Japan Marine United Corporation. Painted in Maersk‘s distinctive blue and stacked high with containers her departure from Maryland made for an impressive sight. In the first scene where I started the video below you can see the arriving general cargo ship Dynamogracht. As the Maersk Sofia heads out onto the bay a pair of tugboats pushing barges arrive. For best results watch in FULL SCREEN. You may need to watch for 20+ seconds before full resolution kicks in.
