HMCS Moncton Comes to Baltimore October 3, 2018

As warships go the MM 708 is on the smaller side at 55.3×11.3m (181.43×37.07ft). She was built in 1997 by Halifax Shipyard and commissioned on July 12, 1998 according to Wikipedia. She is the second ship to have this name according to this Canadian Government page. She and her 11 sisters are Kingston class “Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels”. She arrived to participate in the 2018 Baltimore Fleet Week and you’ll see she develops a bit of an entourage as she comes in starting with a pilot boat, then police boats and finally a tugboat. For best results watch in FULL SCREEN. You may need to watch for 20+ seconds before full resolution kicks in.

You can also see all of the ships I saw this day in this 44 minute video, which includes commercial and military traffic coming in and out of Baltimore, Maryland.
