Navig8 Amethyst Comes to Baltimore December 21, 2019

This 184x27m (604x89ft) chemical/oil tanker was built in 2015 by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and is owned by Navig8 Chemicals according to BalticShipping.com.

Take a look at this video from December 27, 2019 of her entering the Cape Fear River! Also check out this video which seems to be of the crew celebrating on board this ship. Perhaps a birthday for the fellow in the middle?

In my video below she can be seen approaching Baltimore, Maryland on the Patapsco River having traveled up the Chesapeake Bay on an overcast day. As she approaches watch for crew moving about on the deck of the ship. Movement can also be seen on the bridge if one watches carefully.

After passing under the key bridge she passes the outbound roro ship Hoegh Tokyo in the next scene. In the last scene she can be seen passing the at-anchor self discharging bulker Algoma Verity.
