Parsifal Comes to Baltimore November 17, 2018

At 265×32.26m (870x106ft) The Wallenius Wilhelmsen ro-ro vehicles carrier is one of the largest in the world and can carry about 6,000 cars. Between her large size and classy paint job she is truly a sight to behold. She was built in 2011 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki, Japan. Read more about her on this spec sheet. Also check out this cool infographic! Kick back and relax as you watch the pilot boat Maryland and tugs Lynne Moran and April Moran help guide her into Charm city. Be sure to watch to the end when she extends her stern ramp and see how it causes the entire ship to roll! Watch FULL SCREEN for best results!

I hope you’ll agree that she’s an amazing sight to behold! You can watch a longer video which includes not only this ship but others I also saw on this day here.
