Stolt Ocelot Arrives in Baltimore, July 26, 2019
This 155x24m (509x79ft) tanker was built in 2008 by Kurinoura Dockyard & Shipbuilding in Yawatahama, Japan and named Golden Ivy according to sheepvaartwest. In 2010 Stolt Tankers purchased this tanker and renamed her Stolt Ocelot. It is not known by me what she was doing during the two years from the time she was built and the time she was purchased.
She has had an unremarkable career and I can find no mention of this tanker other than some news articles about her purchase such as this one by Tanker Operator.
In the video below she makes a suitably unremarkable arrival to Baltimore, Maryland. In the first scene a Black Crowned Night Heron can be seen. In the last scene the pilot boat Baltimore can be seen passing the tanker than turning to follow.
