Golden Ray Departs Baltimore December 21, 2018

This tanker measures 141x24m (462.59×78.74ft) and was built in 2012 by Kitanihon Shipbuilding in Hachinohe, Japan according to BalticShipping.com. Owned by Eastern Pacific Shipping she is managed by Ace Quantum Chemical Tankers.

The video below is a favorite of mine because you can see the tugs Theresa Krause and Adam Krause backing her out of her parking space, then spinning her around before she heads out of Baltimore, Maryland under the Key bridge. For best results watch in FULL SCREEN. You may need to watch for 20+ seconds before full resolution kicks in.

I also saw 3 other ships this day, the Cruise Ship American Constitution, the self discharging bulker CSL Tacoma, and the container ship Primavera.
